Spinning nuke symbol

When I go into one of the fourms subsections (IE general gameing, hardware, etc) if I dont read every thread the nuke symbol will still be spinning for that particular sub fourm.

I dont want to have to go through the trouble each time of marking all threads as read each time in order for the main menu nuke symbols to function properly. They should stop spinning until a new post or thread occurs since my last visit, not just that I decided not to read a post in a thread i am not interested in.

That's not the way last read works here. You want it the wa it worked on ubb.threads. Here it's down to threads. Now if you don't read it, it will auto expire after 30 days.

Or use the "Mark this forum read" link under "Forum Tools" inside a forum.

The next forum version allows you to double click the spinning icons to easily mark that forum as read without having to go through any other screens.

This forum uses a database to manage read topics, so that way if you just quickly go to the forum to view one topic it won't mark all the other topics as read when you really haven't. If you haven't read a topic here then it'll stay unread until either 30 days, like Joe said, or you actually read the topic.
