I just got shadow warrior recently because i had the demo and it was cool. my question is, i downloaded a utility for duke nukem 3d called 'Dukeres', it alows you to make your own tiles and extract all art, maps and sounds from the game, is there a thing like this for shadow warrior, i tried useing the duke nukem one but the quality of the art was pathetic, there must be one surely?
thanks for your help?

All the SW editing things you need are on the CD. The thing your lookiing for is editart.exe

SW works essentially the same as Duke;
Before you do anything, you need to extract all the .art file. At DOS, type:
kextract sw.grp *.art
Then, type editart, you'll be able to edit the tiles to your liking and even add some.
But if you do modify the .art files, do not apply the Shadow Warrior 3Dfx patch.

Extract all of the art files.
Extract all of the dat files.
Then you can use OpenGL Editart (at the above site) to view it.
To extract files, either use kextract or OpenGL Build Touch (above site aswell).

Oh yeah, forgot the simplest thing, after you have the art and dat files in the directory, you can also use editart and build (from shadow warrior) to edit it.
You need the *.dat files, as this has the palette.

nah nah nah nah, im not talking about editart, if i was i would of said so, this thing lets you view the art, extract the maps with one click and view the animation and listen to the sounds with one programe, its called Dukeres, i was just wondering if anyone new anything like it for shadow, not edit art, i cant get it to work.

It sure as hell isn't Dukeres.
Most of the viewers (all except Editart and OpenGL Editart) use the duke palette only. Editart and OpenGL Editart allow you to use any other palette from the other games (such as Shadow Warrior, Blood, Tekwar, etc, etc...). That was the whole point of OGLEA.
Blood uses a different format for the group files, but the others all uses standard *.GRP files, so they can be opened with kextract or opengl build touch.
You'll just have to stick with what you have.

I don't think you are talking about Dukeres, I think you are probably thinking of Wintex.
