Okay, start up a game of Lameduke and notice that the "chaingun" fires blue crap, now check out the '99 E3 Prey vid, and notice that Talon Brave has a gun strikingly similar. Hmmm, maybe 3dr liked the gun in Lameduke and carried it over to Prey? Maybe Lameduke was actually PreyBeta and then they decided to make it Duke3d instead...

? I meant that maybe duke3d started off as Prey, and then they made it into duke3d.... but I don't think that would happen....

Duke3d started off as Duke3d
Prey started off as prey
these were 2 different projects, however it is possible that the "blue fire crap" thingy was placed in prey after it was dropped from 3dR and the prey guys liked it.

No.... I was just thinking aloud... I even said I thought that was very doubtful. So did you guys like the gun from Lameduke and put it in Prey?

I didn't bother checking this out, but it could be that the guy who suggested the idea of the above mentioned gun in Duke (and got rejected), also worked in prey and tried pushing it again (this time causing the entire game to be cancell.. er.. "on hold")
