Wolfenstine 3D Codes?

If anyone has noticed, in Wolfenstine 3D version 1.0, at the end of the game you get a code like KK or someting like that. I was just wondering what they mean. I know the cheat codes and these are none of them.

The code was part of a competition that Apogee were going to run. (The competition ws dropped after all the mapping programs/cheat codes were out not long after the game) The code was supposed to prove that you made it through the game as opposed to cheat. (I suppose there must have been a table saying what the codes meant at some point). I assume that the letters would have proved that you made it through the game in a certain time at a certain level.
