Besides Hatchet, this is the only slasher I'm looking forward to. It'll be a bit different than your typical slasher. While it is a slasher movie in the spirit of the 80's and 90's, it is also parody, as well as a "mockumentary".

The story is about Leslie Vernon, who is a "regular" guy... and a "slasher"-wannabe. Apparently, slasher icons like Jason Voorhees and Michael Myers are real in this movie's world, and Leslie wants to become one of them. Not only that, but a news team wants to make a documentary about his rise to infamy.

So far the movie makes me think of "American Psycho" and "The Last Horror Movie", among others, even though it is clear that it'll be quite different from those. Anyway, this should be an entertaining movie even for those who don't like slashers, and probably even more fun for those who do.

Oh, and Robert Englund has a part in it, and it's not just a cameo.

Anything with Robert Englund in it is worth a look.
