How can I turn on VSYNC in Battlefield 2? Its really annoying having visual tearing @ max settings :D :(

Some advice... VSync makes my games choppy. It even makes CS 1.6 unenjoyable to play on a GeForce 7800.
Tear > Chop

Yeah, I wouldn't use vsync. Hell, sometimes I sacrifise resolution just to get a game running smoothly.

Well for me, Chop < Tear, because Chop cant happen :D So how can I turn it on?
BTW CS 1.6 is just plain unenjoyable, vsync or not.

Try forcing it in the driver control panel.

7800GT (Unknown make, its an Alienware rig)
Athlon64 3500+ (not OC'd or anything)
2GB (4x512) DDR400
7200RPM HDD
(not that this matters) SB Audigy2ZS
Running BF2 @:
1280x1024, all settings on High
forced 8xAA, 16xAF, VSYNC.
EDIT: No, only 4xAA chosen from ingame menu. Forgot to force 8x :D

Force it in your GPU Control Panel.

Triple buffering can lead to a slight mouse lag.

Cant recall having any mouse lag, but I get mouse spasms alot (just goes crazy and I stare at the ground/sky and spin). Might need to clean my mouse.

I haven't noticed any mouse lag with triple buffering. I use an LCD monitor, with good FPS tearing is incredibly annoying. I don't game anymore without vsync on, thanks to triple buffering.

Im thankful that ZDoom has vsync, on my more recent rigs I got horrid tearing because of FPS ~300. But I think in newer versions its capped near 100 without vsync
