Duke Bots

i dont really know if this has been discussed before.
But does anybody know if the multi player will have duke bots?

It would be good for some chap (like me) that uses dial-up crapnection and wants to train for some Duke Match, or just have some change from blowing aliens to blow dukes.

I reckon George once said they were watching a bunch of bots battling each otehr in a Duke-match...

I can't remember if that was the current build though, but if so, i'm fairly sure they are in...

I remember that as well, and I started here after the 2k1 build. But then again, I was reading it before that so who knows. ;)

yes i am sure GB said they watched a whole fragfest with just bots and then compared the scores at the end, iam sure its gana be in. And duke is gana be able to ride his little pink girly bike picking up strippers too.

the bots in zero hour were the best so far, anyone remember them?

they had a bot spinoff of just about every movie, like a terminator bot and heaps more. remember?

I think you are confusing "bots" with "robots"...

Bots are the AI controlled enemy, you can play agains tin a Multiplayer match... This way you don't have to play against real human players... Of course it's less fun, but some people prefer to have them still...

they were ai bots for dukematches in zero hour, you had to unlock them.

But heck, what do i know about Zero hour, that's one Duke game, that i unfortunately missed... :(

you can unlock first person view in ZH but it is very hard to do. but yeah the bots that you unlock go off. i think you can adjust the dificulty level on each bot. i remember making the terminator very hard so it was awwsum seeing him coming blasting away with his plasma rifle"in the 40 watt rang" he he. i forget who eles you could unlock but they were all cool.

yeah its all there, looking for the "expansion memory pack" the one with the red top. the game is really good. you will love the first few levels then it gets good again the last few levels. youll see duke in his ripped up leather jacket in the part where he goes into the future, after the big war. pluse all the bots you can unlock..fully worth playing if u havent played it yet. the edf is in it and you start off at the edf base. heck now i want to play it again.:doh: peace:)

No no, i have the expansion thingy (followed with my Donkey Kong game)
It's that save thingy, attached to the controller, to save a game...

Unless it's damn cheap, i'm not gonna get it...

I was Hoping, that the Wii's online games included Zero Hour... Then i could get it that way... But i bet only original Nintendo games and such will be available for download for the Wii... :(

internet.....rymes with femulators and pom's....i truly belvie if the game isnt being made "new" anymore its not bad...
now say if you were to do that with prey ...yea...thats not so good

Well, while emulators are legal, roms are not (unless you own the original version as well). So buy the game, download an emulator and a rom version (which would then be legal) and play the game. :)

And in case anyone is thinking it is not legal. It is in Europe.

They'll have bots Im sure..because they confirmed them A LOOOONG time ago...but that was then..

IMO, bots aren't really 'COOL' anymore...unless I didnt have an 'INTERNET CONNECTION'...I'd much rather play ONLINE against real people..a real interesting battle...

back in the day...UT had bots and they were fun to mess around with in different levels when playing solo...or with a buddy...but with 20 other REALplayers on line...WHATs the point besides jsut having it for MORE fEATURES..which is fine with me!

so ya at the beggining there dumb as a door knob but after a few rounds they get tougher and stronger and better accuaracy. then after the 10th round there really really tough. you have to be almost a super man to defeat these guys.
