Hello all, I'm using a Radeon X1600 and I occasionally get this while playing. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v719/hcjfilms/weird.jpg
Any ideas what's causing it and how to stop it??
Thanks.

Honestly, I have no idea how one fixes artifacts like those, but I would suggest:
-playing around with your screen resolution
-update to latest drivers
-make sure your video card isn't overheating
or
-pray
-eat some pie
Not sure if that helps a lot. There are probably more knowledgeable people on this forum, so hopefully they'll have better ideas.

The 'pray'-suggestion could work here :)
But seriously, if this is happening occassionally, than it's very likely a heating problem (or a malfunctioning card). If it's more consistent (say, the same kind of artifacts at the same spots), it could be a driver problem.
You could monitor you're GPU temperature (Guru3D (http://www.guru3d.com) has a lot of software to help you with this). Updating your video card drivers could be a good idea, if there out of date (say more than a year old).

Thanks MeatloafBomb and CameO73 -- great suggestions.
I've nothing to add, other than to reiterate to definitely check to make sure you have the latest video drivers. There's a button in the Options->Video section that you can click to check if you have the latest.
You'd be surprised at the oddball bugs we ran into that were fixed by simply updating the drivers.

Looks to be texture corruption due to overheating. Try opening your case, not overclocking, move other cards away from the video card.
