I decided to see the entire credits this time, usually I just quit after them, but I liked that whole six months later touch, and the fact that it seems obvious that Prey will get a sequel.

I stayed the first time I beat it, because I wanted to see everyone who was involved. I didn't expect that extra bit. :)

You know, something told me to stay and watch the credits. :-) I am glad I did. :-)

I only sit out credits if it has been a good game/movie, to let the experience sink in.
So yes, i watched the Prey credits roll. :) Liked the extra bit.
Btw... NoClip all the way out of the bar. You'll see some interesting stuff (http://thijs.saalmink.nl/preyscreens/pages/shot00346.html). ;)

Great stuff. Can't wait to see how they plan to mindf*ck with us in the sequel.

These days I *always* watch a game's credits due to this kind of thing. Especially if theres a good song included.

I watch the credits in every game I own, and that last bit was awesome.
Definitely an amazing game and I can't wait to see how they top that.

I always stay after the credits. These days many games have surprises after the credits. And with a great credit song like that it's a given.

I always watch the credits. In this game, I love the radio broadcasting with "Tom Jackson" speaking. Like I said in another thread, it's probably the reason why they said "This game is a work of fiction - connections to real life persons are pure coincidence" in the credits or Jack Thompson might sue them :D

I stayed for the song, and was pleasantly surprised by that last tidbit.
I just don't understand how Tommy ended up back on earth. Maybe the same beings who helped that other chick escape helped Tommy too? Only thing I can think of.

Every game to date with any characters of any name or of any story of any significance will always have that specific wording at the end. Even movies today have a similar message.
It's because of people like jack thompson that they NEED that kind of wording at the end.
But, yeah, awesome game, great ending. I always stay to the end of all the credits regardless of whether I liked the game or not, or if the song is good or not. Not because those always exist, but because I feel like I owe it to the design team to recognize all the people who were necessary to make the game possible. However, when it is a GREAT game with GREAT music at the end (IE prey) then I'm not leaving my chair until after the credits finish, regardless of anything.

I loved watching the credits for this game. The musical choice was excellent, the tidbit at the end was great, but most of all I loved the way the letters came together for the credits. That was a really good touch and quite appropriate to the game.

I had to stay, because the Xbox 360 version of the game doesn't award achievement points until you finish the scene after the credits.
Which is another thing: Finally, someone gets Achievements points right! And beating on Cherokee the second time round giving 65 points.. Excellent! Makes it worth playing for, but doesn't over-reward due to the probably easier experience due to knowing the solutions to the puzzles already.

Unfortunately PC gamers don't get any special rewards for finishing the game in Cherokee mode. Oh well.

Yeah! Great song and great art direction with the letters. It really felt like the end of a movie.
And yes: I always sit through the whole end credits. Me and my friends often are the only people left in the theater after the credits are over.

Well, I think movies had these messages long before games.

I like to watch credits 'til the end, too. And sometimes you get a little something like this for your patience. Also, the song in the credits was great. The flying letters were also nice, but mine had a bug. In the voice talents, there was a "Himself" without a name. I guess it should be Art Bell, but the was really missing. No letters flying there.

I just KNEW there was one extra tidbit for the end of the game. I would have watched the credits anyway as developers sometimes add funny comments. "No delta force operatives were harmed during thye making of this game."

I didn't, initially. But after reading that there was something extra after them, I went back and beat Mother again and let them run so I could see what it was.

Too bad they all make the same joke :( People Can Fly did it right in the expansion pack, though.
