The Elhuit have aksed for your help. Sick of your dead end ways and feeling depressed and bored without grandfather and Jen you accept. You come to find that upon leaving the sphere they took with them massive amounts of technology, they had figured out the secret to gravity control and portals as well as improved upon the genetic engineering experiments that were done on the sphere...
Upon arriving back on the Elhuit homeworld they discovered all was not well, a corrupt group of overlords from a nearby star rule the planet and are pludering the population, treating them like slaves and sucking the resources of thier world. When the sphere population returned they were caught off guard, the technology was seized, ( most of it) and the sphere denizens forced to use that technology to help the overlords keep control of the population. Now you the great Domasi is the one hope to help the Elhuit stage a revoultion and regain control of the planet from the evil aliens. With your spirit powers and your Gordon Freemanesque fame you can lead the Elhuit to their destiny.
In this fashion all of the old gamplay elements can return as well as many of the old enemies. As a plot point we can find that the Elhuit had carved off a small section of the sphere with a key weapon inside, the small spheroid has re-enclosed and is healthy, you just need to get the giant wormhole teleporter up and running so it can transport itself , what it holds can be the key to the revolution. We can also discover that the Elhuit civilization was the origin of the Native North American spirituality, and Tommy can truely find grounding in the ways of his ancestors. I have many other dieas and plot points but I think that's enough for now.
What do you think?

Isn't Elhuit a girl and not the name of the civilization? I think they were called the hidden.
Also i don't think posting plots and stuff for a next game is a good idea at all, they won't use it because too many people read it already and it woulnd't surprise. If you have plot ideas send them an e-mail.
Yeah Elhuit is the name of the chick who comes to you right at the end (and of course during the game).

Really, I thought that was the name of the people not her.
I would send them an email but I hate to bother developers with that kind of thing. I doubt they are going to pay any attention to anything I post in this thread.
And hey, none of you guys said if you thought it was any good!

lol i think that the great beings that requested to see you will be the bad guys in the next game either that i bet 10$ that the hidden are evil since they got all that technolgy and shit it got to their heads
Oh come on they are just gonna be an advanced race of humans like her. They are probably going to pull the 'sphere building factory' slant too.

errm, its just a bit... 'Tommy visits City 17' if you get my meaning. If you're gonna come up with a game plot, then come up with one. Don't just gather together lots of ideas other people have come up with in games you've played and then write them all out. Think of something truly original. And don't bother telling me how unoriginal HL2's or Prey's plot were, or how everythings been done before, thats a cop-out. An example of what I mean is your opening scene.. so Tommy is pissed off and depressed.. umm, that'll be the same as he was at the start of Prey 1 then. Why have him pissed off and depressed again at the start of Prey 2? wouldn't it be more original or at least different to start the game with him having embraced his cherokee heritage and be looking for a way to resurrect Jen or something?
Nice one for having a crack at it though. I just think you need to come up with something that you can rightly call your own idea.
It's an interesting idea at least but I'd want something abit more different for Prey 2. I'd like to see a bit more land based fighting as well.
Now you the great Domasi
Tommasi (sp).. Tommy is his name remember.

id like to see tommy having to defend earth since we go through the portal at the end maybe it could be like the last 5 levels or something but still how cool would it be having a level where tommy is driving a truck or something and you have to get to somewhere while being shot at by ships and shit

Shot at by ships and shit?? that would be one messy game sequence. He'd need some decent wipers to get all the shit off his windshield. Would be quite comical though to see lots of turds armed with rocket launchers running around all over the place.

Thats what i would have said, but when people think creatively about entertaining others, they think primarily about things THEY have seen that were ace. The hardest part is differentiating enough so people don't realise the differences.
But it's got me thinking though, where can the next story go? How far out can we get? I'm going to university in sept and part of my course will involve script writing. I'll see what i can come up with and then post it back here... when its done lol.

Well honestly that was a 5 minute throw together that took me about as long to think as to type it, I wasn't trying to write a novel or the Prey Bible. Just come up with a way to explain portals and gravity flipping being in the next game, after all the sphere is now gone. I have a lot of other ideas and have thought of ways to tie the whole thing in with earth as well as the existence of other spheres. The whole oppresed homeworld part could be easily changed.
I would write it all out but there's really no point, if my initial post had been any longer no one would have even read it, instead you would have seen: TLDR
And ADM I do believe it is Domasi.

*A* Sphere is gone. There's no telling if that was the last remaining Shpere. I think the Mother made a miscalculation with placing life on Earth in that that life would evolve and become intelligent. (Something like NASA droping cows on Mars for deep space missions, only to have the cows evolve and exclaim that they're not for making into hamburgers any more...) Who knows how many planets are of similar creation. And apparently Elhuit and the hidden are aware of others that need help. Time to get busy!

And who says all Spheres are carnivores? Wouldn't it be more efficient for a Sphere to grow forest and fruit trees and such and in this way it could be a closed ecosystem. Then you could also have forests and jungles as part of the setting complete with wallwalks and gravity flipping. Imagine flipping a freaking jungle upside down! Really the way the story was constructed there is so many things you can do in the Prey universe.

Oooo! Good one! So Sphere's are stealing resources off planets, and you're next customer is a trout. Sounds silly, but it's entirely plusable. That's the sort of out of the box thinking that's going to keep the Prey franchise growing beyond "Final" Fantasy! :D
