ok i put spoilers in the topic so the non-beaters should have left already. on the secret level, once you kill everyone, go to the back where the guys came from. there is a hallway that has a door in the middle. well open it. inside it has a floating remedy symbol behind lasers, and photos of the max payne locations, in real life! there's a picture of roscoe street station, the parking garage, etc. but the most interesting is the photo you see when you first enter the room. a photo of the team just like in the manual, except one difference; look to the right and look closely at the guy in the hawaiian shirt. he's max payne! or is it some developer whom they based max's face on? or is he max's voice james mcaffery?

It's Sam Lake, the actor who played Max Payne. I also think he's the writer, but I don't remember all the credits.

that guy is (his face not his real name) max payne, they purposefully made the guy look like him, and hes one of the developers, not a writer. i know this for a fact, it was in a gaming mag. kinda cool to have ur face in a game, by the way, i havent played that level, how do u get 2 it? and, does this guy have a scrunched up face aswell?

Ok, writer was the wrong word. I just beat Max Payne again and it clearly says Sam Lake did "story and screenplay" in the credits. Or maybe I'm just wrong a second time! images/icons/wink.gif

Sami Järvi is the writer... (aka. game designer maybe). Doesn't matter what a mag said, everyone that works on the game is developers. The firm is developers. Developer is not a title. He wrote the story, and probably also the characters, most of which is played by his friends or family and friends of Remedy.
