Go to first unread post problem

Ive notice this happens quite often, image pretty much says it. Why does this happen?

Because you post by the Quick Reply which technically doesn't refresh the page.. thus the software doesn't think you have read it.

Though having said that I never get this problem at all.. so more information would be helpful. Ie. What browser are you using?

That can also happen if you reply to a post on say Page 2 of a thread, and it actually has the most recent post on Page 3 - the remainder of the posts in the thread are still "unread".

Since the thread you replied to is a multipage, it wouldn't surprise me if this isn't the case here.

Ahh yes didn't think of that. That could be the reason more then likely.

Yeah, thats usually the type of situation when it happens.
