I still haven't figured out why people need CD-Keys for something that is free.
Especially since the 1.07 patch takes away the MP Key check for the retail version.

I think it takes away the disc check, not the CD key verification.

Well due to the fact that they used CD-keys in the first place I guess they just continued the system in place. Technically they could do away with all of it, but I guess they decided not to bother.

Maybe the friend's list is attached to the keys? Maybe the anti-cheat is setup to use keys to block people if they abuse it? I don't know, but I'm guessing there must be some reason.

turns out you can rerequest cd keys from the first page, so problem solved, multiplayer is unbelievably fast...

It's the full multiplayer part, from the 1.07 version of FEAR... Which adds alot...

But if you have FEAR, and can get that patch, there's no need to get this at all...

Really fun. The patches they applied to the game really helped with it running better too.

I had everything maxed, even in advance settings and was still getting great performance.

Nothing really new with the modes per say but it's free and worth the dl.

The bunny hopping is out of hand though. :o

Well the new amount of FEAR miltplayer servers is just huge nad it's totally awesome Monolith made the multiplayer free ! It's a huge success imo! I saw about 750 servers and 3050 players! Now that's amazing!

Usually, i see 2 or more servers using it.. I always sort the server list by map names, if i want to find it...

But, for some reason, i still need to download... Maybe it's another version or something, or perhaps a mod...

Anyways, maybe someone from here (Yatta..?) will make up a server again... :) With those 2 Duke maps included of course...
