Ive been reading on The Wall, and apparently there are a bunch of cut songs and live exclusives permitting to The Wall. Anyone know where I could find these or something?

Most of that stuff ended up on the Final Cut album.

The studio version of What Shall We Do Now seems to only be on the Wall film. Couldn't even find an obscure single b-side version. I have it from a bootleg and I suppose I could rip it off the dvd audio if I cared to, but you'd think they'd have put that out on Echoes as well as Tigers.

The boot you speak of is likely the vinyl rip I remember seeing around the time which was a lift from the movie's soundtrack.

I really like The Wall album, but The Final Cut is still my favorite, for its grim, yet happy feeling and political standpoint.

It's off "Pinkie Milkie," but I was unable to find an authoritative statement of how that track was ripped.

From what I understand, it's about dealing with the horror of combat and struggling to adjust to normal life again. At the end of the album, the narrator gets blown the eff up in a nuclear explosion.
This is Roger Waters being "happy." :p

I've written about the Final Cut and When the Tigers Broke Free before on these forums.
Here's my thread on it (http://forums.3drealms.com/vb/showthread.php?t=20422).

I meant that while it is grim, songs like "Two Suns In The Sunset" sound pretty happy with little inspection and without paying attention to the lyrics.

Haha, yeah...seriously, the guy was so nutty that he almost ruined the band.
As for stuff not on the album, a few things extra are on the live album, including a long version of Run Like Hell (which was supposed to be on the record, but they ran out of room).

I agree, I cant really explain it, but The Final Cut sounds upbeat, when compared to The Wall.
