is the campaign good in this game? cuz is it worth me spending the entire weekend to beat it? cuz after this week schools is gonna pick up and if I wanna play this, this is probably the last week, cuz first week of school wasnt too intense.

I had more fun with the skirmishes than the campaign. But that's just me. I like holding out against the odds and then advancing slowly to crush the enemy :)

the campaign is really not that good - Once I played through the space marines campaign I thought okay.. now on to the orcs campaign! But there was no orcs campaign, and neither a chaos or eldar campaign. It's just space marines, it's fun as long as it lasts but nothing special.
No the skirmish is what you should play - There's all the fun :)

You can buy the game and expansion seperately, but the best value is in DoW Gold.

If you're into the atmosphere or the universe the story might be good enough to keep you going, but I don't know any of the background and I found the voice-overs laughable.

Campaign in the regular game is pretty standard. The expansion that's coming out in October sometime completely changes that though, new single player mode and everything, so you may aswell just wait for that.

just played the Dark Crusade demo, man that game is a blast. i´m getting the Gold Edition of Dawn of War. oh and can somebody tell what 7 races are playable, i know of the Marines and Orcs and the two in the Dark Crusade demo, but that´s all I know.
