My friend can't seem to view pdf files icon (as in, there's no file icon created at all). She can open the document from a link and read it just fine, but once she save it somewhere (say Desktop My Document or her thumb drive), there's no icon with the file name.
Can't seem to find much help from google. Perhaps someone knows what's happening.
Here's the two documents she's trying to view:
http://www.freewebtown.com/leung7218/evoc.pdf
http://www.freewebtown.com/leung7218/kine.pdf
I created these for her using pdftk (on linux) to merge several pdf files together. Though she doesn't have other pdf files on her computer to test out, I tried to view these files using Foxit (on WinME) just fine so I don't think it's some weird unix-only pdf problem and more of a can't-see-any-pdf-icons problem.
She's using Win 2000 and Foxit pdf reader. Folder option already set to view hidden files.
