Whats your opinion about DNF and episodic content? Of course DNF will be a full length game but afterwards?
After 10 - 20 years wait it could be a way to give the fans new material every year .. I think it works extremely well for HL2 with small but very noticeable improvements in graphics, gameplay, story and character developement etc.
If the graphic engine in DNF is capable .... Like HL, Duke Nukem has a big fan base and the whole univers calls for so many ideas to be tried out.
As I see it, it must be very satisfactory for the developer to polish the game based on feedbacks and to be able to try out stuff that didn't make the first release... and of course .. shorter development time :D and less economic risk.
Anyway .. I know that George can't comment on episodic content for DNF but maybe just a general opinion about the concept?? Maybe for some reason I don't see, it isn't so fantastic at all.
