It's about time I get a high quality headset/mic combo, and was wondering what my best options were.

I use headphones for everything at my PC, so i'm looking for something that sounds great even when i'm not on Ventrillo, etc.

Ballpark pricerange is about $100-$200.

I'm thinking of this:

I'm leaning towards it mainly because the reviews seem positive with the exception of a few "uncomfortable earpad" complaints, which I could deal with and/or replace.. plus the mic detaches for when i'm not playing games \o/

Opinions? Any suggestions?

I was looking at that pair when i bought some new headphones, but i was running up quite a bill at the store, so i decided to just get a cheap 30 dollar pair.

When i get a new pair, it's prolly gonna be those. Let me know how they are.

[Edit]: Just ordered them via Newegg (got the 2 year extended in case they melt my head or something), i'll have them in three days \o/

Just got them, they sound AWESOME.

So far i've tested some DVDs, My music library and Battlefield 2.

You can tweak the hell out of them too, so it's your decision if you want the airstrikes to rattle the teeth out of your head :D

Hows the detachable mic?

It's great, sounds crystal clear without any sound relay from the headphones. Plus it's a bonus to be able to take it off when i'm not on ventrillo.
