*jumps and dances around like a moron*
I LOVE MAX PAYNE!!!! IT RULES!! IT'S THE GREATEST GAME EVER! THANK YOU REMEDY! THANK YOU A MILLION TIMES OVER!!
*calms down*
Sorry for that outburst, but I just beat the game again. It makes me so happy when I play through it. The ending keeps getting better, the graphics are beautiful (and I really mean that, they're incredible), and Max is great, and...
...The story is brilliant. It's detailed perfectly, and anybody who thinks the writing style was overdone has obviously never read a graphic novel. I still get choked up every time I watch the opening scenes of Max coming home to his murdered family. Of course it's all made better by the overwhelming sense of accomplishment I feel when I complete the game.
I'm sorry, I know this is a waste of space and your time...But I really love Max Payne. I haven't seen one of these "Max Payne freak" threads in a bit, so here's another one.
I'm going to play it again...and again and again and again and...you get the idea.
So, thanks Remedy...I don't care if MP has been out for a while, you deserve to be thanked for the rest of your lives for this game. images/icons/grin.gif

I'm sure that Remedy would like to reward you for being such a dedicated fan...though the last 300 messages on their answering-machine demanding Sam Lake's phone number put them off, I'm afraid.

hmmm, yes. It is a great game. The matrix is a great movie. Mashed potatoes are a great food. I would love to eat mashed potatoes while playing the game with the matrix playing in the background.
Ok, when I started to write that I had a point, I've forgotten what it was.
"Again and again and again. From different angles."
Sounds like maybe you should learn the modding tools, figure out how to create your own "Max Payne adventure".
"Never put something out of reach because it is difficult to grab"
Ok, I just just made that up and I don't know what it means. I think I'll try again.
"Never miss an chance to build a dream or to try denny's chicken caesar salad. It has cheese on it and it's very good"
Ok, this just isn't working out. Maybe I'll figure out how to tell you to never fear a difficult task because they are the most rewarding another time.

Max Payne is one of the rare games that I've actually played over again, I started playing it again about a week ago (playing it on and off) and it's still alot of fun even though I know what's going to happen. Great job Remedy!

It's really not my fault that he's gorgeous.
The only reward a dedicated fan like me needs is the game, and my very own life size cutout of Max Payne....for display purposes of course. Yeah....*ahem*...

Hmm.. now.. if The Baskinator represents the average Max Payne fan from the female point of view, then how come GrrlGamer.com (http://www.grrlgamer.com) hasn't even mentioned the game? But then I guess we, as a development team, should hop around out of joy just because Old Man Murray (http://www.oldmanmurray.com) hasn't mentioned Max Payne, either.
Maybe I just shouldn't consider you average, Baskinator. Sorry about that. Glad to have you with us. images/icons/smile.gif
(Say, why does the title of this topic remind me of a picture where Colossus lifts the slab of ground The Blob is standing on?)

They said it was good, surprisingly. images/icons/shocked.gif
They said something along the lines of "we were going to write a scathing review of Max Payne, but it actually turned out to be good" or something like that.

Hmmm...I've never even heard of that website...I just read PC Gamer. images/icons/tongue.gif
I like being 'one of the guys' much better anyway. images/icons/grin.gif
[edit: I've heard of OMM, it's GrrlGamer, or whatever the heck it's called, that I've never heard of. I should be clearer when I speak.]

Okay, OKAY, I'll tell you why. The topic says "Woah, hey!". That's exactly what Blob said in an X-Men comic, when Colossus lifted the slab of ground under his feet, in order to move Blob. He figured that if Blob is completely unmovable, maybe the ground under his feet can still be moved.
Getting nitpicky, someone could point out he didn't say "Woah, hey!", he said "Whoah! Hey!", but duhhh.

Basky would be a huge N*SYNC fan if Sam pulled out two Beretta's, dove through the air, killed Justin Timberlake, and joined the band. images/icons/grin.gif And I might join the fad too, if that happened, more chance he'll kill the rest of 'em too! graemlins/tinyted.gif
