It is an internal error of eduke32. There should be reason of it but I don't know that. Make sure that Duke's folder doesn't contain any "*.def" and "*.con" files.
Strange messages in the log:
Warning: Failed including dukedc_hrp.def on line duke3d.def:2
Fatal Signal caught: SIGSEGV. Bailing out.

1. Try download the latest EDuke32 http://wiki.eduke32.com/stuff/
2. You have at least one file with DEF extension (probably "duke3d.def") in duke directory. Try move all these *.CON and *.DEF files away.
Maybe you should wait for TerminX.

Yes, because the log indicates he has a version released the first week of June 2007. I think it should be recent enough.

O LOL! that happens when you use to use the dos cfg file with eduke32, deleate duke3d.cfg and it should work

I can't reproduce that.
What is exactly cause this problem?
Anyway it is not normal. Wrong cfg should not cause this issue. "Memory violation" is serious problem and it is usually difficult to find this leak.

The part about def files is irrelevant to the crash. That is EDuke32 telling you that you don't have all the files you claim you have in the right place.
Usually deleting the cfg file or the texture cache fixes most everything.

Disable Data Execution Prevention (DEP), if it is enabled.

I can't get any of the HRP content to show up in the game. Here (http://www.geocities.com/jf954/eduke32.log)'s the log. That's a whole lotta error right there...

It can't find the hrp def file. how did you install the HRP and how do you start eduke32?

@Tetsuro
You are using 1 year old EDuke32 (EDuke32 1.4.0 beta 2 Jul 18 2006 16:14:15)
Also there are no "duke3d.grp".
Do you have HRP v3 and the game at all?
HRP is here:
http://hrp.duke4.net/download.php
http://hrpupdate.duke4.net/downloads.html
EDuke32 is here: http://wiki.eduke32.com/stuff/
EDIT:
Maybe you have HRP in "autoload" folder but old EDuke32 can't load it.
Anyway where is "duke3d.grp"?

I decided to uninstall HRP so it took the old version of eduke with it, and re-installed the whole thing, and now it works...only my computer is waaaaay too slow to enjoy it.
Maybe I should try copying the entire folder onto my XP machine and see if it would work now...
EDIT: It didn't. It just crashes regardless. Here's the log:
