We received word that Max Payne was nominated for a few awards to be handed out at the upcoming Computer Game Developer's conference in San Jose, CA on Mar 21st. The awards Max is up for is:

It really is amazing, isn't it.
It was Nice to Look at, Sounded Great, Bullet Time and Shoot Dodge was really Cool, but for all it's Glory it was Way to Short, Way to Linear, No Multiplayer and no reason to replay it.
For all it's Good, there was Bad Also, yet it was released and Won.
Let's Hope DNF can carry on the Winning and learn from all of the Bad Max did have.
Great Job to all involved with Max Payne, I Enjoyed it.

i dunno if MP can win over gta3, but halo aint too impressive... just graphics and some crappy vehicle physics with a little biot of unreal tournament style gameplay thrown in

Game Innovation Spotlights (against many folks)
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">Against B&W. In an Innovation Catagory. Say what you want about it, but B&W has been hailed as extremely innovative, and already has won awards for it.
