Eugh, Quake. England vs USA in the world cup today and I didn't feel like taking the Dodge RAM 1500 wallpaper off but I still wanted an American flag there, so I kind of merged them together in PhotoImpact.

Yeah, I guess back when Drazula was here, he taught me a thing or two about Carmack inventing the FPS genre, and so far, I've been more than convinced that he may be the one that saves PC gaming altogether. Right now, Doom 3 and Quake 4 just seemed to be fitting desktop wallpapers for both my Windows desktops.

By the way, that Nuke Symbol for the start button...I've wanted to do that for SO long! I don't have the knowledge though. Looks awesome man!

There you go.

Run the program as Admin.
Once opened, click 'Select & Change Start Button'
Browse to the folder with 'DukeStart.bmp'
Select it, and open it.
Explorer.exe should automatically restart, and when it does, enjoy your new Start Button.

It only took me like 10 minutes in Photoshop CS5 to make it.. it also has a yellow outer-glow on mouse over. Enjoy!

Yup, no problem.

Only one minor issue with it, that I forgot to mention before, is that the black areas on the .bmps' get removed, so the inner 'non-yellow' parts of the Nuke symbol will be the color of your Taskbar. For example, mine is Bronze & Yellow, yours is Navy Blue & Yellow.

Still looks good in my opinion. :P

If you don't want that to happen, simply open the DukeStart.bmp in something like Photoshop or GIMP, and lighten the inside areas a bit. Be sure to leave the background black though. :)
