Problems With X Box Live!!!! plz help me!!!!

i live in saudi arabia, and i have a X Box.
I am having problems with X Box live. I cant play online....
i did everything good but then, it cannot be connected.... Many people and my friends told me that it wont work because you live in saudi arabia....
what should i do ????
anyone here lives in saudi arabia who have a X Box without problems with X Box Live ????

maybe you could switch countries (on the xbox) to a country near yours and see if you can logon then
