I have max payne on PC but it runs like (Quoting John Trvolta in Swordfish.) "Unbelivable, unremarkable, shit." So Im thinking about getting the PS2 version. I hope that the game has new features like the Duke64 port (New guns, new levels, ect.)

Well, I'm sure you'll get a few trinkets in addition to the game proper for your PS2 version (which we PC gamers won't get). By the way, there is a smorgasbord of Max Payne mods coming for you to download and play -- on your PC only.

it would be cool if you could burn the mods on a cd, and play 'em on a PS2 images/icons/grin.gif
there how ever huge technical problems and i seriously doubt that this will ever happen.

There's really no point buying PS2, if Max Payne is your only interest in it. If you don't have a DVD player, then it's a pretty good investment. Also there're plenty of good games coming to PS2 like Final Fantasy 10 & 11, Metal Gear Solid 2 and Tony Hawk 3 for example. If you liked the earlier GTAs , then you'll propably like GTA 3 too, which has just been released.

For many at the office, GTA3 has turned out a reason to buy PS2. Man, that game kicks ass! images/icons/grin.gif

This goes little bit off-topic but: i love GTA3! There's so much freedom, that i can't believe it. I even e-mailed my congratulations to Rockstar Games and got this answer:
"We appreciate that you like the game. Obviously, we love it, but it is great to get feedback from our fans. Thanks for buying our game and we hope it gives you many hours of enjoyment!

As this thread has gone totally off-topic, I'll continue along that path ... images/icons/smile.gif

Is that really an English word!? Smörgåsbord? This is freakish... Since when did the Swedes manage to squeeze that word into the English vocabulary?
