On the first AESIR level, when you get up to the mainframe to disable the locks, as soon as the elevator door opens, you can listen in on an enemy conversation. Nothing big there, except the fact that he metnions he has a wife and two sons! And then you gotta shoot 'im! How is that different from what happened to Max?

He's evil, If hitler had a wife would you go easy on him.

Anyway, that's the reason I never got NOLF, every two seconds one of the henchmen talked about his daughter, friends, tv shows he wanted to watch. Then you were supposed to shoot him.

Guard: If you don't mind my saying so, you seem awfully moralistic for man who makes his living as a criminal. We've already killed thousands of people, what's one more?

Armstrong: They didn't ask me what I thought.

Guard: Perhaps not, but you knew there was a possibility of such things happening.

Armstrong: Okay, maybe you're right. Truth be told, I'd sooner kill you than her.

Guard: Then I'll stop trying to convince you to throw her off a cliff.<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">-- No One Lives Forever

I don't remember it all, so it's pretty much paraphrased. images/icons/smile.gif :

Guard 1: "Hey, didn't you guys try to blow up the Empire State Building?"

Guard 2: "Yeah, but the plan went all wrong"

Guard 1: "Why's that?"

Guard 2: "We hired non-union workers to construct the death beam"

Guard 1: "Ouch."

Also, the argument that that guard in the Berlin night club draws between the presence of beer and criminals was a brilliant double-entendre' of the whole "video games make kids killers" argument.
Sorry if this takes the thread off topic. images/icons/smile.gif
