View Full Version : I bought The Baskinator

Hudson

For years upon years unbeknownst to either of us, Kate and I had both been harboring crushes for each other. It all finally came to a head about two and a half months ago when I finally admitted my feelings, and was happily surprised to find out she felt the same way.

After talking for a while, I planned a trip to go see her and the feelings only deepened. There is no greater feeling when you find your perfect match, when just about absolutely everything aligns ever so perfect, and fireworks happen that rival the Hiroshima bomb.

With all things willing I shall be purchasing a house sometime this spring.. and once Kate graduates she'll be moving here with me in Baltimore. I've never felt this way about anyone before, and can't see it lasting any shorter than eternity. Kate is my soul mate, my world, my life, and the air that I breathe.

Appropriately enough, I think it's best summed up in a quote I modified from Max Payne:

http://img161.imageshack.us/img161/6778/thehudsonatorkk4.jpg

"I was already so far beyond the point of true love I couldn't remember what it had looked like when I had passed it."

I hear mail order brides from russia are very nice.

@Hudson: Is this real? I've noticed the lovey  stuff in your messages but didn't know there was anything serious brewing. I'll be a lot more wary about the manlove crap from here on out. *Eyes Yatta suspiciously* ;) :o

So when's my intarnet love story going to happen??

Ever get the feeling you've already met the woman of your life but you banned her... ?

I figured something was up from Hud's posts in the "Picture of Forum Members" thread. Hud seemed a little defensive of a few guys ogling Bask's pics. ;)
I had a feeling something was up between you to. And then Hud's recently planned flight he seemed so happy about... it got me thinking.

But anyway... congrats guys. I think I have an idea as to what your feeling Hud. The past seven years with Bon have been the happiest time in my life, since the wedding four weeks ago it's only gotten better and better.

I'm very happy for you two and hope that time only makes your feeling stronger. :)

Interesting. Now that you two are together, I'm sure you'll find after a few months that performing more kinkier activities is a turn on. Give me a call when the time comes and I will bring the appropriate toys, and myself of course.

Damn, I'll have to settle for buying Yatta :tinyted:

Correctional Officer, and then transferring to the IT department.

Ahhhhh. My cousin suggested I get into that cause you work for state and thats good thing, and get paid well not doing much but supervising an area/simple job. (seen them when I visited in prison)

But I'm sure that depends where it is and what are of the facilities, and what kind of facility. Some theres big risk day to day.

That's nothing! I have access to his vast collection of facial hair. Did you know he keeps everything he shaves off? He often contemplates selling it all to special effects studios but I always manage to talk him out of it. I'm pretty sure you can get in on the stash too.

There is no greater feeling when you find your perfect match, when just about absolutely everything aligns ever so perfect, and fireworks happen that rival the Hiroshima bomb.

Pah - a mere 13 kilotons, I pity you. :D

Seriously, congrats both. Sounds like you've found your soul mate. Really great when something like this happens. Makes me all warm and fuzzy on the inside. We need more good news on the 3DR forum. :)

For years upon years unbeknownst to either of us, Kate and I had both been harboring crushes for each other. It all finally came to a head about two and a half months ago when I finally admitted my feelings, and was happily surprised to find out she felt the same way.

Wow. Did you flirt with her right from the beginning though, to make sure you didn't just end up on her friends list? You are more than just friends with her, right? I mean, erm, you know. :censored: :)

Good stuff.

I'll have to try to develop a relationship with someone. The last chick I developed feelings for was quite a bit older than me, had two kids, and wasn't very attractive. But her personality was awesome. She was an extravert, and I like extraverts because they bring out the extravert in me. So, when I was away from her I felt quite emotional about her. Of course, when I was with her I didn't and just treated her normally which is just as well I guess. :o

Speaking of relationships.. i think some girl wanted to ask me something while I was walking through the hallway - but I never saw her before so I had no idea (still don't). I figured she was talking to someone else, but I heard her saying "hey why is he walking away" so I dunno

For whatever reason, I'm finding this subject very depressing.

The only serious relationship I had with anyone, intimate or otherwise, was with my last (second) girlfriend, who turned out to be a pretty awful person in some respects. Although, I sure wasn't perfect either. Before she met me, I was fairly content with being alone - I didn't want to bother anybody and I didn't want anybody bothering me. Yes, you could say that my life pre-December 2005 was just like that Simon & Garfunkle song, "I Am a Rock." In retrospect, it seems like a dream life to be so content. I didn't need to be close to anybody as long as I had my right hand. ...*cough*

Well, she convinced me otherwise and for a while, I was happier than I'd ever been. She's been gone for over a year now; I don't miss her much anymore, but I can't stand being alone now, and I think that sucks. At this rate, I feel like I'm going to grow up to be like Harvey Pekar (http://www.indiewire.com/ots/photos/onthescene_030814ipop_Harv.jpg), perpetually miserable.

Then it's at that point I briefly contemplate why society puts such an emphasis on sex and companionship, but then I usually take a nap or play a violent video game to forget about it.

It's nice that this relationship cra-... stuff is working out for deserving people like yourselves. Seriously, life must be wonderful for the two of you right now.

Sorry to be such a buzzkill, but I had to get that off my chest.

Stuff like that happens to me too! Glad to hear it's not just me. Then you spend the next few hours thinking. What could have happened...? What could have happened...?

It's cool. I was in a horrible relationship previously, in which I was cheated on, robbed of thousands of dollars, robbed of two and a half years, and was generally treated like a dog. My relationships haven't been all candy and roses before now. I just finally found the right person, and believe me when I say that it took a few ****-ups to get to him.

Exactly.

However - and let me 'quote' Stairway to Heaven on this one - what is a rock that cannot roll?

Hmm. What you want now, but didn't before, you can't have. Isn't that always the way?

In my case, I've never really had a girlfriend so, in effect, I don't know what I'm missing out on. Which is pretty shit aswell when you think about it. :(
