Can any give me tips on, how to avoid Bsp holes whilst creating terrain?

I'm using the Terra-Ed program and every time I create Terrain via it, I get some disapearing textures. Now when I boot up the map everything seems fine, except something that appears to be bad Z buffer problems.
Any ideas?

Ohh, and thanks Dem (star you are)for the help in my other topic, I would've replied and put this post in there if the frikken opened for me! smilies/images/icons/frown.gif

how did you imported the brush. did you import it as a solid mesh or nonsolid. Mostly you'll get holes when you import it as a solid mesh or if you use the merge faces option.

import it as a nonsolid without the merge faces. and see if that would help. If it doesn't you might want to recreate your terrain.

I exported it from Psp6 to desktop, then imported in to terra edit. Then exported it back to desktop, where I then imported in to Unreal-ED.

I've tried both, importing as a nonsolid and a solid. I know it should be a nonsolid with merge faces unchecked, but I seem to get a better result if I import it as a solid with merge faces off! smilies/images/icons/confused.gif

I've made five terrains now, and each one has gone fubarr.

Hey Dremoanxl can tell me a little something about, what the build options mean, please?
Like minimize cut Bsp Tree etc. smilies/images/icons/smile.gif

Because I'm now starting to get Bsp holes throughout my map! smilies/images/icons/frown.gif And I don't know what the hell causes this, or how to fix it.

Ohh, and Dremoanxl, I'm really interested to see one of your maps, buddy! smilies/images/icons/smile.gif
Would you be so kind as to drop us a link?

And, as always, THANK YOU! smilies/images/icons/grin.gif
