Two mover questions.

I have some movers in my map and I want to
change the textures on them. Is there any way of changing the textures on a mover that has already been created?

I have a mover that is in the map but in UnrealEd2 the mover doesn't show up. I want to get rid of that mover but I can't if I can not see the mover. Any ideas on how to make that mover visible?

Hi Widowmaker,

Are you using UnrealEd 1 or 2?

If you have UnrealEd 2.0 you can edit the textures right on the Mover. Switch to the wireframe view, left click on the mover to highlight it, then right-click and under 'Keyframes' check the 'Show Polys' option. (You'll need to switch back to the textured view)
If you have the original UnrealEd, left click on the Mover, right click and select 'Copy polys to brush' This will make an exact copy of the Mover (including the textures) to your red builder brush. Now move the builder brush to an empty area of your map (or a builder box) and Add it. You can delete the original Mover at this point.
You'll need to re-texture the Add brush and then re-copy it into the builder brush and Add it again as a Mover.

That's weird. Try clicking the big 'G' groups icon up on the toolbar and make sure all the groups have a checkmark next to them (they won't be visible in the editor if they're unchecked). The groups tool comes in real handy if you want to assign the same properties to a bunch of actors or brushes at once. For example, if you put a bunch of streetlights into your level, you can make them all share the same properties by assigning them to a group. Later on, if you decide your lights are too bright, too dim or the wrong color, you can change the properties of all of them at once, instead of changing each light one at a time.

I am using UnrealEd2. The second mover problem happened when I created a temporary lift and then when it was no longer needed I deleted it but when I played the map again it was back. I will try what you said. Thanks for the help.
