Multiple floor/level elevator?

I've just created my elevator, but I'm not sure how to get it moving right.

I mean, I would like to use it to get from floor 1 to 2 and then later on, take the same elevator from floor 2 to 3 etc.
At the same time though, I'd like to see the button I made change from a red texture to a green one.

Please, say some knows or can point me in the right direction for a decent tutorial?

I've used a modified effect for a single player level for my portfolio but never actually seen it used anywhere else before. smilies/images/icons/smile.gif
