1.) In the office part of my map I'm getting what looks like bad Zbuffer(glitches) problems. And I don't know what's causing this or how to get rid of them! smilies/images/icons/frown.gif please help

2.) Can anyone please guide me to a tutorial on how to get texture to move? *cough* Dremoanxl-NutWrench-Theseus*cough*

Makes music, very good.

In texture properties, U-pan and V-pan to get textures to move.

Question 1, I'd have to see the map to help you.

i usually fix problems like that by compiling with Brush Cut to about 10-13

Thanks Theseus & Bean. But Bean, what do you mean by brush cut? Me no understand! smilies/images/icons/confused.gif Could you explain a little more please?

Yeah, I could let you see it Theseus but it is an early stag, still. I'll have to upload on my friends site first.
Ohh, one more thing, as you know it takes place inside a skyscraper. Get this, I'm not sure if I can ever complete it though. Because someone said UT has a practical limit of 15000 Bsp nodes and I am on 12576, which seems ok. But I'm only on the second floor and this Skyscraper has 5-6 floors!
Whoopsy! As you probably guessed it has a lot of detail but still runs with a decent FR.

Ohh well!

Thanks again! smilies/images/icons/smile.gif

Adding Zone Portals will help the map run a lot faster.

Check out DM-Falkenstein for UT (Nali City).
The architecture is awesome! smilies/images/icons/smile.gif

Indeed they are Theseus! smilies/images/icons/cool.gif Ohh, now my Bsp nodes stand on 15694 smilies/images/icons/grin.gif and the third floor is under construction. Please don't expect the earth, because it's a skyscraper smilies/images/icons/wink.gif
Honestly though, this is my second attempt EVER at mapping. My first lame effort was nothing more than Dm-Subtracted Cube.

Yeah NutWrench, DM-Falkenstein sure does look sweet!! Ain't played it yet, but I will. It looks Unreal (pun intended) *slaps self*

Just one more thing guys, how would I go about using the modplayer/tracker to create my own tunes?

Hey hey.! I hear you laughing. It's only easy if you know how. smilies/images/icons/smile.gif

What does a cuban do If he gets a flat tyre?

He drowns! smilies/images/icons/grin.gif *slaps self again*

Ta ta

So YOU'RE the one responsible for that! smilies/images/icons/smile.gif

You can get get ModPlugTracker from www.modplug.com (http://www.modplug.com) (or .org, I think) and it will let you create Tracker-type music.

There are also HUGE libraries of tracker-type music on the Web dating back to the 1980's. I've found several songs that would be great for a Deathmatch map.

I don't feel too much pressure to learn how to use tracker software. From what I've seen here, Duke Nukem Forever will have MP3 support. I don't know if they will still keep support for tracker music.
