Anyways I wanted to get into mixing stuff on my PC and was after some programs that some of you might know cuz I dont know any.
So what do you think about this guitar? I am paying 200 bucks for it and I think it is awesome.

I wish i could get a washburn for 200 bucks. Are there any more of those Dime Slime guitars? I think they sold out when he was killed.
I have always been a fan of the warlocks and I just ordered that one so it looks like that will be the one. It has a cool gothic graveyard paintjob with the pearl skull inlays on the fretboard. I hope it gets here before Chrisy.
hey guys please post some pics of your guitars here in this thread. I know some of yous would have some really cool ones.:)

I got an acoustic guitar, though I plan on buying some entry level electric guitar when I get my tax return.

We all know I couldn't leave this topic untouched!
Ok first of all 200 dollars for a guitar? How long have you been playing for?
I honestly would pay the extra and make sure the guitar is made in either Mexico or japan if I wasn't gonna pay up for an american guitar as US guitars are the bomb!
BC Rich ha? Are you a metal head? If you want to record ambient music or trance stuff then I guess yeah you could get that guitar cause those sorts of bands are more about the dark tone of the guitar and effects you put on top (Flanger, Delays, Reverbs).
I would recommend a Flying V or SuperStrat. Otherwise...
Software programs for recording range from enterprise level (Pro Tools) to Entry level (Cool Edit Pro) And all the stuff in between, CakeWalk SONAR ETC...
I personally use a multitracker machine by Zoom. Its called the Zoom MRS1044. Look it up its quite a professional tool and the recordings are better than a 10000 dollar studio setup.
Check out my myspace page to hear the quality of the Zoom Multitracker.
Enjoy!

Yamaha Pacifica and Ibanez RG321. At least here in Finland, compared with quality and price. Ofcourse when you get used guitar you get more quality with less price.

Not a damn thing wrong with B.C. Rich - especially if you are a "metalhead" looking to play rock/metal music.

Yes, if in the right pricerange, but not in 200$ - they are far from best choice.

I live in a small town where alot of people play and are in bands and i am friends with the local manager of several bands and is the doorman to the local pub. Anyways none of us have gibson les pauls and as a matter of fact alot of us have rather cheap instruments but were still rocking. it would be nice to spend more on myself for a new guitar but this one is fine for me for a few years. I no longer believe that i need the most expensive guitar, just one that plays nice, looks hostile and is in my price range. the guitar is 250 by the way and pisses all over my old one so I am happy. maybe later on in life i will get a better one but this will do for now.

A $200 one like I have is a fine beginner's guitar - even good for playing small-time gigs...

to be honest, i loathe BC rich. the models are atrocious and i hate the sound.
but to each his own. most people iether love or hate my dime razorback.
as for recording and mixing, line 6 products are designd for that, like guitarport or toneport. great for recording some neat stuff.

Hey thats not even a BC Rich. It is Stirling from Australia. Solid Alderwood so I am interested in how it sounds. I am not expecting a great sounding guitar but something I can thrash out with and toss around and not worry about damaging it. Should be worth 200.
