If I were to place a poster or any decoration on a wall in UnrealEd, what would be the best way to do so? I'm familiar only with Build in that you would place a sprite on the wall, and change the texture to the preferred decoration...
Hello ty!
First off, create a sheet the size of your poster. Now align it to the wall and add.
I gotta say though, I never have much luck with this way. I prefer to size a cube and adjust its bredth to 0.5. smilies/images/icons/smile.gif
Or you could subtract the space you want, from a surface and have a ready made wall frame. smilies/images/icons/wink.gif
Hope this helps!
just align a brush(the picture) against the outside of the brush (world) and add it.
itll over-ride that section of the wall, so you can apply a texture to that side of the picture brush

(Third way smilies/images/icons/tongue.gif)
First make a sheet brush of the size you want, then turn the grid size to one, align the brush right next to the wall, not touching the wall just one unit away from it. Then open the Add Special Brush window and select Masked Decoration and click Ok. You might need to check Bright Corners for sheet brush's surface or it might be too dark.
If you don't want your poster to be masked then just uncheck it in the Add Special Brush window.
