I just bought this great game some time ago, and after single player i wonder if i tried multiplayer today.
So i started multiprey, but i couldnīt see any players, is there anyone still playing? And main reason for this topic is that, many servers says something like some files are required to play, but can not be downloaded there. I tried both patchs but same problem. So what should i do/download to get this work.

Servers might be out of date.

As for multiplayer there are some people who play from time to time but its rare. Multiprey didn't take off as well as I hoped.

BOUOU i just wish peaps would like more prey and play more oftenly. And i cant wait for prey 2 and in prey 2 OPE TEY WILL BE BETTER DM.

Can if you set up your own server to host does that become something people can join. Or is there some kind of main server that was in the developers HQ ?

Who really plays on what day, just keep checking the multiplayer tab.

Hi! Glad o find this topic. I has the same problem like Asdas. Seaching for a multiprey game. But I only find empty servers, only one have 2-3 players sometimes.
So, can i joy this party? My name is Player2007.

I have Prey but I do not have it on steam, also when clicking on any of the servers nothing but error messages appear, didn't Joe say the games developers close there servers. I'll keep checking though.

The Game developers (Human Head) never ran their own servers.

2K were paying for the servers. They decided to stop paying, so the "official" servers went away. That included the 2K servers, and the HH servers.

Saddening :( I really love the deathmatch of this game, but so few others do. No one bothered to give it a chance. It seems like those of us who want free-for-alls instead of team games are a rare breed.

Its not that people are not playing Death match anymore, its that there already a lot of dm type games out there like UT3, half-life 2 death match and some others.
