Hi,

how do you start making a level which includes in- and outdoor areas ?
For example a house and around a outdoor area.

Is it the right way to create the house as a brush ??
First i started to "model" the house, then i intersect it and place it on the free area. Or may this cause problems ??

And how do you create a tunnel ? Do you start to create a negative and substract it ?

I ve already done a level, but i ve always added or substracted never used intersect. But it seems to be more useful.

Thx for the help

I keep mixing up the intersect and deintersect, i'll never learn.

i barely undersstand the question, but i'll do my best to reply.

As a little fun project, I'm mapping my house too (just started yesterday.) The way I'm doing it is subtracting a large open space. Then, I creative hollow add brushes for each room, just subtracting the doorways out.
