Ah yes, I was running along Kingsway with my friends at the stroke of midnight, trying in vain to get near the Thames -- didn't even hear the chimes of Big Ben, just heard a cheering and some fireworks that I couldn't even see. Personally, I think it was a waste of time going out, and we should have just watched the event on my housemate's big plasma screen instead :tinyted:

I spend the evening in the Cologne Arena watching the german band Bläck Fööss. They sing local cologne songs and the arena with 50.000 people was filled :o It's not my kind of music but for making party its good! :D
The firework after the show was great! Probably the best new year since years! :)
