I got the ConEdit program I made a conversation and used UCC to compile it and I tried adding it to my level but the guy never talks I used the deus ex maps to see how to get it to work and everything seems the same what's wrong? images/icons/mad.gif

After you re-compiled the Con/Script, did you save the package before you exited the editor?

and another thing I did a level info thing and it doesn't show the startup text is it because I'm running it off unrealEd(under file i do play level instead of going into the real game)

Oh, sorry, I thought you were compiling a script package. Normally, if you make changes to a script and recompile it, you need to save that script in order for the changes to show up.
What about the sound format? I don't know much about ConEdit, but do the sounds have to been in a particular file format or sampled at a specific rate?

I didn't make any sound files(I would raher have all text subtitles than my voice for all the characters atleast I can IMAGINE they have voices) I just made text I think it should work cause datacubes are like that and they're the same thing just the datacube is the one "talking" but I do know it uses mp3s from the conversations in the game
