Games from Remedy

Remedy Entertainment is the developer of Max Payne, the highly acclaimed 3D action game. Max Payne was published in 2001 by Take 2 Interactive and is available on PC CD-ROM, PS2 and Xbox.

Our debut was a racing game titled Death Rally, which was published by Apogee Software and GT Interactive for PC in 1996.

We are currently working on a new title.
Remedy's working on a new title!

this was pulled of their site... So, lemme guess... sequel to death rally probably wouldn't bank as much as A sequel to max payne!

images/icons/grin.gif Although it would be really weird if they start out a new franchise altogether and make Deer Hunter 66 million...

What hasn't been announced is what the game is.

I would be VERY surprised if it wasn't Max Payne 2, but I know why they don't wanna say anything yet, and it's a wise choice not to.

Yep.. I was kind of a given before they even made the announcement... Like, when DNF was announced a while ago, it was kind of... well, at least it's official now...

What ever Remedy does, they're going to rock.. That company is made up of nothing short of genius'... Same goes for 3Drealms...

hey has anyone played/seen that demo game in 3dMark2001, with the 4wd truck with rockets and stuff? I'm pretty sure that was done with the max's engine. Imagine if Remedy was making a sequel to Death Rally using the same style as that. images/icons/shocked.gif

I'd be sh1tin ma knickers all the way to the store images/icons/tongue.gif

yeah it's probably max 2. Could be cool if it was completely new game though.

hole: even the end credits in max say "the payne has just begun". Doesn't that imply that there's a sequel coming, sooner or later

That, or you just gonna have to trust our design decisions and 3D Realms' experience with fun factor.
