create a sword weapon

I want create a sword weapon that can be seen to be held in hand . I try to modify the kick weapon but it is no possible to see the sword in repose...
I see a knife weapon in the Survival mod that look very good, and i want one too !!
some con editing could help me?

Define the PROJ_WORKSLIKE to be 16 (which stands for KNEE type projectiles). Also, the weaponX_workslike should be 0.

which weapon x you choose to make a new sword ? the easiest to modify ?

I changed the freezer weapon so that it shots coolexplosion1 (by that way I want create a gun that shots acid or a throw flame !...) but this projectile does not hurt the enemies ...

If you want COOLEXPLOSION1 to hurt enemies, you will have to code your own that works just like it but does not move out of the way of enemies.
