I looked a the MP5 model in MilkShape today, turns out that guy was wrong. Remedy's MP5 isn't shiny, it's a nice black texture. But why did they choose an MP5 SD? It's not a common thug gun at all, but hey, how do I know what's goin on in Finland.

And besides there are other people than thugs (among others "Elite" soldiers", where Mp5 is the most commonly used weapon)

Something extra for us to play with. It was selected out of the game.

And I still gave you a reason for them to choose it in the first place, it's the most used special forces/units weapon in the world. They decided that a Colt Commando would be cooler as it has bigger muzzle flash and cooler sound...

they could get get MP5SDs as well.

Elite special forces (AKA I'm too ***** to go into battle with a loud manly gun) use MP5SDs, but what does that have to do with the fact that an MP5SD is not a common thug weapon?

It WAS at one time mmkay? Fyne selection, but a wimpy and silenced version. AR 15's/Colt Commandos were in a John Woo only ONCE. In The Replacement Killers. MP5SD's were in John Woo's like, all the time.

Uh... FMJ... if you want to know what great music they're referring to from Baskinator, then download my level NOW!

killer.maxpayneheadquarters.com/thekiller_ep2.zip there's a guitar loop in the level and it's her writting and playing the music.. obviously not at the same time, as that requires huge amounts of brainpower and 4 arms...

Also, that's her voice in the cutscene doing the narration...

I didn't say anything about the thugs, most thugs don't even have automatic weapons, if they do they probably have a Uzi or an AK-47, did you see those in the game? I didn't. Remedy choose weapons after coolness and movie factor. The Mp5 didn't hack it, but it would have been more likely in real life than the Commando, that's my point...

Nicole Horne had an UZI in two comic scenes, Max was holding an UZI in the last comic sequence when he got busted.

Just FYI: The Replacement Killers was not a John Woo movie. He was merely an executive producer.

Colt Commandos were used in both Hard Boiled AND The Killer. You just have to look.

And BTW, those soldiers aren't "elite," because if they were, one man couldn't kill 669 of them. images/icons/tongue.gif
