I can't wait to release some early screenshots. Oh man, this thing is HUGE. I'm talking about massive outdoors during a really bad storm. This level will probably require at least 10 players/bots as well. I really just wanted you guys to know that I'm working on a map that I beleive has a LOT of potential. I'll keep you informed as events surface...

EDIT: There appears to be a bug in the map file, because it can't be opened! DAMMIT!! images/icons/mad.gif
The project has been cancelled and I just deleted the map.

You mean like, CTF-ProjectX2 (http://www.nalicity.beyondunreal.com/review.php?id=8858) big?

That's big. How much will it weigh? 20 megs?

More like "This level is so vast you will have to ride on trains while you're playing to get across parts of the level!" big.

Read the first post. All that work down the shitter because the map file was corrupt, and the autosave picked up a beta map I've also been working on.

I'm really pissed because I feel it could've crushed ProjectX-2 into smithereens. My map had so much new stuff in it...damn. images/icons/frown.gif

a critical lesson: never turn on autosave, it can do more harm than good.

You should see my maps directory, I have approximately 50 versions of every map I have ever made. When I'm making a map I ALWAYS save a new version every 30 minutes or so. If I'm doing anything much different from previous versions I make it a new filename.
That way I can go back and change things easily and avoid losing everything due to a file getting corrupted. It works well.

Tip: I do the exact same thing!
