Looks okay but feels too much like a souped up last generation game for today's console.

Yea the game just screams "console". :/

Looks to be based on the books rather than the films. Odd, since the books are pretty below average but the films are fantastic. The fact that it's not based on the movies gives me more hope for the quality of the game, though.

Wow, you're the first person who claimed the movies were superior to the book cause everyone who read the book said the book were superior than the movie and Bourne was much older in the books.

I have never read the books, but the films starring Damon very much appeal to me, and usually I can't stand Damon.
This game looks equally....appealing. I'll keep my eyes on it.

Dont give a fuc* about this character except for him being smart there wasnt much to like about Bourne. He used to be brainwashed killer without any spirit, yeah ok maybe thats a good plot but do we need a game?

The books are pretty boring, actually, and too drawn-out to actually hold my interest. The movies are great, though.

I don't understand how you can say the books are bad, but "it's a good thing the game is based on the book." Seems kind of hypocritical to me.
I was confused for a moment that this game was being developed by the devs behind MDK2, but I was wrong. After a little research I found out that High Moon Studios wasn't the group behind MDK2 at all, but rather Planet Moon Studios was. High Moon Studios made the craptacular Darkwatch.
Planet Moon went downhill once they made Armed & Dangerous, though. MDK2 was pretty awesome, but not Armed.

The books are bad because of the dry writing style, which makes fiction hard to enjoy.
We all know a good movie does not guarantee a good game. The pressure to cash in and tie in to the movie makes it suck. A game based on the book should be free of that pressure. That's why it's good.

I thought the books were great and far superior to the films, though I also liked the films. I especially like how Ludlum ends each chapter, or attempts to end each chapter with a cliffhanger/excitement. I won't go near any of the Post-Ludlum Bourne books because I haven't heard a single good thing about them.

Yeah, I'm no fan of the books, but I still think it's a goddamn atrocity that other authors wrote more of them. I don't like the idea of Ludlum's work being bastardized, even if I didn't like it.

Oh, okay. But most of the reviews seem to sing praises on the game. By the way, the music from the clip is form the movies, right?

well i think games > movie, i hate to a passive being, if i can control some how the story and the actions of the main character, why i would choose to watch something that i dont have any control of it?
I like movies, but i think its much better to "be" the character than watching anything. People talk alot about Max payne movie, yeah its cool, but screw that and gimme max payne 3!
Bourne could be a cool fps game.

New trailer out:

The game now at least looks like it's on par with Stranglehold. I can see now why the 360 and Ps3 games need to be played on HD TVs to take advantage of the full graphical effects.

The player in that trailer didn't look like Matt Damon, but who cares?
I would like it if this game would consentrate a lot on running and close-combat fighting. Those where the most awesome moments in the movies. In the trailer it looked like there were a little too much shooting.
I can see why it's only made for consoles. The perspective looked like something that would work badly on a PC.
I'm still not convinced. I guess that I will look a bit more on the new trailers that will come, and read reviews of it. Maybe even try the demo.

Console games are all about laying back ad one button affair while PC games is all about making the user Godlike and they hate it when the camera decides to position itself wherever it likes.
