Check it out. Just started a few minutes ago. Pretty cool stuff.

EDIT- At least, it was going on when I submitted the thread. Forgot it would end up having to wait for approval. Not much point in this thread now. Might as well nuke it.

It wasn't as red as ones I've seen in the past, but was neat to see anyway.

I watched it through my astronomy software that I bought. Looks pretty cool close up.

You are the 16th person I know who tried to use their camera on it, and you are the 16th to have camera trouble. :o

BTW: Saw it yesterday, good stuff.

wasn't really trouble its just my camera (a Minolta 5.5 megapixle) didn't have the zoom. i want a new one. the Nikon's my school use are so nice but there like 1200 and i don't have that kind of cash. in face i think i have all of 2 dollars left :( anyway back on topic

that was my first time seeing an eclipse the only others I've seen were made by Mitsubishi xD (Insert laugh track here)

I took this at 800 ISO and I think a half second or so exposure handheld. The whole thing looked kind of underwhelming and it was cold and windy, I didn't feel like getting my tripod. I probably should have, I might have gotten a really nice shot.

I don't think this one came out that bad. I have a few where I tried to take it without the flash. . .all bad but it makes it look like it is bouncing or something.

I went outside a couple of hours before the eclipse, and then the moon was really bright... How come?
