Me? I'm just trying to learn the damn thing. I can't find the time to really sit down and mess with it. I don't know how the hell you guys can make those ultra complex maps! It must take months! I've imported textures and stuff, but I can't get that "square" look to go away from the skybox. Um...I'm drawing out a map of a prison for Postal 2 which will be using the Unreal Warfare editor. And from what I heard they're very similar (minus the dynamic lighting. Also UWE has terrain mixed in )

I added a soda machine (http://www.datazap.net/free/bobdobbs/soda.jpg) to my map today.

I got the texture from the freely distributable TAHood package. It's just a rectangular poly with the texture on the front. I also gave it a scanline Detail Texture, so when you get close, it has that horizontal interlace thingy. images/icons/smile.gif
It's a small part of a map I'm working on. (http://www.datazap.net/free/bobdobbs/ushot1.jpg) This is an early shot of it: I've still got a long way to go.
a bunch:
-a mappack was released today which contains one of my maps. http://www.fileplanet.com/dl/dl.asp?/planetunreal/unrealcore/maps/mpacks/gtf-tco m_mappack2.zip (http://www.fileplanet.com/dl/dl.asp?/planetunreal/unrealcore/maps/mpacks/gtf-tcom_mappack2.zip) - CTF-Kashmir.
-working with a buddy to get a new and better design for my site
-working on getting better hosting for my unreal/developer stuff
-gearing up to write tutorials for unrealed.exe (look in sig) for UT2003
-Adding to the wiki (look @ sig)
-developing my texturing and 3d modelling skills better
-um, basically taking a little level design break until UT2003
-reading level design articles and such, trying to make my technique better
- I think that's about it
I have a CTF map that takes place in a city block and a small deathmatch map over the ocean.
THey have both kind of stopped momentarily though.
I think I'm just gonna redo them for UT 2003 because engine limitations were ruining my maps, so UT2k3 is very welcome. images/icons/grin.gif
The new lighting model should make things SO much nicer. images/icons/grin.gif

I put finished Cordex and am now working on a CTF map. Too early to give much detail.

My map skills suck, but here's a screenshot of my latest work (still in progress)
Big-res screenshot (http://www.wildfalcon.iwarp.com/images/shot0016.jpg)
It's a CTF map based on a "water collection facility".

Not to worry your skills will improve. I am just getting back into the mapping after a long time away from it and finding my skills very rusty to put in mildly. Just keep at it. Your screen shot shows potential.

Little Update on me:
-Talked to a bunch of devs. (The guys at DE are really nice guys). Basically, I'm now ready for UT2003 mapping.
-Started sketching my first map for UT2003 a week ago.
-Started working on static meshes for the map.
