I see in some levels that a fan is spinning and it is creating a shadow of the spinning fan on the ground. How is this achieved? Am I right to believe it is dynamic lighting on DO's? If so, I can't find a box to tick for 'dynamic lighting' on any do's.

Are you saw this in Doomed mod? If so that it's not a dynamic lighting, it's a black mesh which is spinning like a fan upside :)

Oh damn. Anyway, I was wondering how to make a mesh spin like that? I know how to use keyframes and such, but mine does not spin exactly, it just spins out of position when I rotate it. And is that mesh one single mesh? Or can you make separate meshes and group them together (that's what I do).

Yeah it's all possible but it's too long to explain. You can send me your fan or whatever mesh you want as a prefab, I'll make the animations for it, like spinning, and send it back to you. So you will see how it works :)

I believe you can have separate meshes grouped together. You need to make sure that the "pivot point" for the parent entity of the group is at the center of the fan. You do that by placing the grid at the center of the fan and then press a keyboard button. Unfortunately i don't remember the button anymore. I guess it might also be in the context menu in F5 mode.
Damn its been way too long. Maybe Hitman can elaborate a little bit on setting the pivot.

Yeah it is "P" button and yes, you can find all avaiable actions in the context menu in F5 mode
DanTheMan004, just send me your mesh so I could make everything to show you how all this stuff works
