I'm really having major problems with one part of my map..

I have this room with quite a few movers in it.
all going different directions controlled by 1 switch..but every time, no matter what i do
they flicker and sort of disappear in parts.

I've tryed building them last and just about every setting posible in the build options..
Still no Joy images/icons/frown.gif

I'd really appreciate anyones help..thanx

bit of a lost hope asking here, its 1 of the most dead UED forum there is images/icons/smile.gif .

Your losing polys you say? It could be a LOD (level of detail) issue. Although i dont really know if i can help you without seeing whats going on for myself.

NutWrench I've sent you the map..hope your still using the email in your profile..

The problem is in the middle of the map where
you would fight the 2 mini bosses in duke3d..
you'll know where as soon as you activate the
switch.

Thanx for your help and good luck images/icons/smile.gif

I'd really appreciate anyones help..thanx <font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">Sounds like you might have a problem with movers going through other movers or meshes or you have it's a dynamic lighting mover. The last resort would be to completely redo the movers.

Have you checked the mover brushes BEFORE you added them as movers? There may be some dangling vertexes that screw up anything.
Also, did you check the proportions of your building brush? If they're not correct and you use it to make movers by "intersecting" it with brushes, all the movers you make will be screwed up. To check them, just set the grid size to 256 and create a cube of 256*256*256. If the proportions are correct, the sides of the cube will coincide with the sides of the grid. If they are not, just rescale it to the right size and THEN intersect it with the brush to make your mover.

Thanx for all the help guys..

It turned out to be some weird bug, caused
by me having to many movers in one sector.
