Just a question about quote and sound limits.

You know in the old primitive duke. if you pass 449 wont read others.
Also old Eduke if you pass 455-460 some sounds wont work at all.

But new Eduke problem are fixed.
But what is Eduke's sound limits in def.con?

I know slot 1000 (lotag 1000+ is for echo) in music fx.

So does it means the max sound slots is 999?

Also duke usually handle 192 definequote max.
But does Eduke accept greater than 192?

Eduke supports an unlimited amount of quotes (as far as I know, either that or the limit is high enough nobody will reach it) As for sounds I think the max is 1500 - I asked Hunter_rus if it was possible to increase those limits since quite a few upcoming TCs rely on voice acting and stuff.

I know for musicFX 1000 lotag is for echos.

But if you add sounds at 1000 1001 1002 etc,

Will it hurt the echoes?

Nothing has changed since then.
The max sound slots is 1535.
The echo effect is active for 1000..2000 slots.

I think the amount of slots can be increased on request.
