I have a site on PlanetUnreal called Unreal Expectations (http://www.planetunreal.com/expectations/) . I've got about 25 static meshes for mappers to download and put in their maps if anyone is interested.

I'd love to check them out, if you also put them in a real site (which FilePlanet is not).

It's a shame that many Fileplanet servers are bugged and don't even allow you to wait in line - they just make you download a bogus file. If they believe they'll make people pay for their "deluxe service" by denying the regular service, they are dead wrong!

??? Bogus files?
I hate waiting in line and the bandwidth isn't that good but never had to download any bogus files.
Are your downloads being cut short when you get bumped by a "paying" member.

Get over it. Sheesh. File planet sucks but at least it is still sort of free, unless you don't want to wait in line. Your loss.
Anyways some nice looking meshes. I'll be trying some of them out later.

I doubt I lose any sleep over you not checking them out.
cool site... (that top portion may be just a bit large) but some killer static meshes... if I may recommend a tutorial, please make a "how to make static meshes" tutorial... images/icons/smile.gif
as for fileplanet... I pay for fileplanet... you can't really get away from downloading new demos and without waiting in line... it's like 5 bucks though... or something

I do have one suggestion.
When you have enough for your first pack. Import them into UED, texture them. Then save them in a single package and import the textures into a single package.
Later this will save others time and they will be very grateful for the ease of use. Right now we will have to import the mesh and texture individually. Create our own brand new package and texture set. And some people don't actually know how to do this. If they could just add the new package and texture set, then just grab the meshes, it would be much more user friendly.
Just what came to mind this orning as I began to import your meshes.
I am curious to know what else you are working on for meshes?

I don't map currently, but I just wanted to say that those static meshes look really good. I'm impressed. images/icons/smile.gif
