for some reason.. the music for duke wont play, when i look at the options the music is "off" and its blue and cannot be changed.. any ideas why?

Open up your Duke3D directory and look for setup.exe . Go into "music, sound and video" and make sure music is enabled.

This could happen if DUKE3D.CFG was created by setup.exe. I recommend not to use this dos program with EDuke32. You have the option disabled because of "MusicDevice" line in this file.

You have to kill DUKE3D.CFG and let EDuke32 create a new one with default settings.
