I liked streets of sim city :(
Tony Hawks Pro Skater 3
At least i thought it was crap
Thief

Advent Rising
Project IGI & IGI2: Covert Strike (I personally love these games, but the general consensus is trash)
Winback: Covert Operations (good music on multiplayer maps, love the quick-paced change in music when you're near death)
Duke Nukem: Zero Hour
Mission: Impossible (N64)
Forgot to add in that I've owned all these games and had many hours of enjoyment with them, but that most of these titles are frowned upon. :(

I like the game quite a bit (a clever combination of Time Crisis and Metal Gear Solid), but I can't recall how the music was.

Skip 49 seconds if you wish to skip the intro and get to the music.

I've got that tune playing in my head, and I'm listening to other music and didn't even open that link.

Turning Point: Fall of Liberty
Game was absolutely horrid... a pile of shit. Insulting to the gamer IMO. But the score... the music was great, just amazingly well done.

Road Rash. I know I'll probably get skinned alive for bashing a classic, but looking back, you notice the gameplay isn't that hot. Awesome soundtrack, though. Probably doesn't fit the "CRAP games" thing, either.
Remember the intro? Classic: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kFkxYUxxtD4

O.K., so I thought the game was a bit crap, but its music was awesome.

Soundgarden FTW!
Halo :p only good thing about that game was the multiplayer and the soundtrack

Ah yeah, the Syobon music... boy that game looks awful - or badly emulated at least... :o

I really loved 7th Legion's intro music and BGM09.

Some great remixes, I only bought the game for the music. :D

How about Dungeon Siege? Although I wouldn't call it "crap."

Eh, it's crap enough for the purposes of this thread. And I agree, it did have some wonderful music. I remember when I first played it, I'd stick around in an area for a bit and just listen to the music. It was done by Jeremy Soule I believe.

It's difficult to find a 100% "crap" game with a good OST. Because being crappy usually means shipping as an entire package of suck. :p

I loved Dungeon Siege :(
Dungeon Siege II on the other hand... :mryuck:
- I wouldn't call it "crap," but Voodoo Vince, a kinda forgotten 3D platformer/action game for the XBox, had a great, jazzy musical score (http://www.amazon.com/Voodoo-Vince-Steve-Kirk/dp/B0000D9PJ0).
- I also thought Time Lord, a tedious platformer for the NES/Famicom, had a decent soundtrack with a freaking awesome theme song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u2bXs7OE0Lk).
Winback
I swear, this has got to be the only N64-to-PS2 port ever made (as far as I know).
I have a soft spot for that game. While just about every aspect of its gameplay has been improved upon by other games since, 2 on 2 multiplayer was interesting (1 on 1 was pretty useless, though).
I have the N64 version; I wonder how well it played in its PS2 incarnation.

I don't know why Winback gets so much crap. Sure, the voiceovers on the PS2 version were absolutely absurd, but the gameplay itself was absolutely fantastic. The PS2 version had a Perfect Dark-like skirmish mode against bots that was great fun and very challenging.
Well theres always that Final Fantasy TC for Doom 2 I think that they announced the worst mod of all time (although I loved it) which had some sweet midi FF music in it :P

Halo Series - not really total crap, but IMHO nothing good either, score is fine though

I liked DS, but didn't love it. And it would crash all the time.
I only played the demo of DS2 and it actually seemed pretty interesting.

Well, ok. I dont want to say DS2 is bad but its not what I was expecting. Ill have to finish it someday (And the expansion. Which reminds me I never finished DS1's expansion either)

I really can't think of anything atm, I think its because I don't play crap games long enough to soak in the music. However, while its not way shape or form a crap game, Painkiller comes to mind. While the title was overall pretty decent the ambient music was probably the best aspect of the game.

Someone else already mentioned it. It's also from Syobon, better known as "The evil impossible mario clone" :p

I'll have to throw in Chameleon Twist in here as well. Another game I personally loved, but got ripped apart by players and critics. Thought it had a very fitting soundtrack.

Stolen assets or not, this is really the best game ever made. Not even joking. That Cranny Faggot stuff was gold, and this is even better.
