When scaling left to right, it actually scales down to up!
Also this is annoying when subtracting or adding, because
it doesn't fill the builder brush properly!
The builder brush works with every other map except the one I'm making.
It seemed to go wrong after using freehand polygon draw tool.
I've tried resetting all and transform perm. but the builder brush just won't work properly.
Please help. I can't continue until this is solved! images/icons/frown.gif (post 4 Ut2003)

It sounds like the builder brush has been rotated and is off the grid. Tranform permanently may not be taking effect as UE3 may require that you rebuild the map for it to take effect.

To get the builder brush back on the grid right click one of the vertecies. That will align it to the grid based on that vertex.

I hope I uderstood the problem and gave the correct advice. if not let me know and I'll take another stab at it.

That's weird. Are you trying to scale a primitive brush (like a cube or a cylinder) or a complex brush?

i selected the builder brush and then edited the setings in there, setting all the setings in the X Y Z stuff to 0

Jimbob, I can't find the X Y Z properties, where are they?
Another problem is the pivot isn't snapping to
the vertice properly. Also, the cube looks like
it's been slightly rotated, but hasn't.
I really need help with this guys!

Yeah NutWrench it's a primitive. images/icons/smile.gif
Thanks!

erm.. lets see

in any view, right click on the builder brush, then go to brush properties
then movement
the look at the settings, there are several x y z propperties like desiredrotation, location etc one of those has a proppertie other than zero, set that one to zero. that should help.

Hmmm, have you reset the brush? Just right-click then go to Reset > Reset All. But I might be just telling you what you already know images/icons/smile.gif .
